Marching Band and Color Guard Payment

$5.00 - $190.00
MARCHING BAND/COLOR GUARD PAYMENT
The annual Marching Band fee helps to cover transportation to events/games, dinners for home games, and more. Partial payment options are available. The annual fee varies depending on whether or not you need Dinkles (marching band shoes) or dance shoes: 
  • Returning Color Guard (Already have dance shoes) = $110
  • New Color Guard (Need dance shoes)** = $150
  • Returning Marching Band (Already have Dinkles)= $150
  • New Marching Band (Need Dinkles)= $190 

** New Color Guard members will acquire uniform in separate cost. ​
The mission of the Blake High School Roaring Bengals Marching Band and Bengal Guard is to make a positive difference in the lives of the members by providing musical and visual experiences and performances, and to assist them in achieving their potential as they develop confidence, cooperation, leadership, responsibility and high standards of excellence and character. 
It is our pleasure to welcome you to the highest profile performing ensemble of Blake High School.  The Roaring Bengals Marching Band and Bengal Guard has a rich history of outstanding performances, and has quickly become one of the largest and finest marching units in the DC Metro area.

Our band has been honored by participating in the 83rd Allstate Sugar Bowl in 2017, as well as the 71st Nokia Sugar Bowl in New Orleans, the National Cherry Blossom Festival Parade, Walt Disney World, the New York St. Patrick’s Day Parade, the NATO Parade of Nations in Virginia Beach, and the 62nd Annual Konica Minolta Gator Bowl in Jacksonville, Florida.  Every performance has brought great credit to our school, which will continue in the years to come.
